These terms govern your use of AIQ Rank, including the website, plugin, scores, public profiles, and leaderboards.

Acceptance
By using AIQ Rank, installing or running the plugin, creating an account, or signing in, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use AIQ Rank.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use AIQ Rank. If you are under 18, you may use AIQ Rank only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
What AIQ Rank does
AIQ Rank analyzes supported local AI coding activity through the plugin and produces scores, tiers, profiles, share cards, and leaderboards. The plugin scans locally and may upload aggregated usage metrics to keep your score current.
Aggregated metrics can include daily activity counts, tool names, skill names, MCP server names, and how often each was used. AIQ Rank does not need prompts, responses, source code, terminal output, file contents, conversations, or transcript files to provide the service.
License to use AIQ Rank
Subject to these terms, Second Coffee, LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use AIQ Rank, the plugin, and the website for personal use. AIQ Rank, the plugin, scoring methodology, brand, and visuals are owned by Second Coffee, LLC.
Your content
You keep ownership of any content you submit (such as your handle, profile fields, and links). You grant Second Coffee, LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as needed to operate AIQ Rank — including profiles, leaderboards, and share cards.
Scores are informational
AIQ Rank scores and tiers are informational and comparative. They are not certifications, employment credentials, guarantees of skill, professional advice, or promises about job performance. Scoring methodology may change as the product improves.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your account, your profile handle, your public sharing settings, and your use of the plugin. Before running the plugin, make sure you are allowed to use tools like AIQ Rank under any workplace, customer, open-source, or device policies that apply to you.
Public profiles and sharing
Depending on your settings and opt-in choices, your handle, score, tier, selected profile details, share card, and leaderboard placement may be public. Do not use handles or profile information that impersonate someone else, violate rights, or mislead other users.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse AIQ Rank, attack the service, scrape it at unreasonable volume, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate others, submit false or manipulated metrics, reverse engineer the service for abuse, or try to manipulate scores or leaderboards.
We may recalculate, hide, suspend, or remove scores, profiles, or leaderboard entries we suspect are manipulated, falsified, or generated in violation of these terms.
Third-party services
AIQ Rank integrates with third-party services such as Google OAuth, GitHub OAuth, the Claude Code marketplace, the Codex CLI, and our hosting and email providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, their policies, outages, or changes. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
Changes and availability
AIQ Rank is evolving. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, plugin behavior, scoring methodology, or public surfaces. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a score will remain the same over time.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend accounts, remove public profiles, hide leaderboard entries, or block plugin submissions when we believe there is abuse, manipulation, security risk, legal risk, or violation of these terms.
Termination
You can stop using AIQ Rank and request account deletion at any time by emailing [email protected] . We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
AIQ Rank is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Second Coffee, LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Second Coffee, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Second Coffee, LLC's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to AIQ Rank will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for disputes not subject to other applicable law is the state and federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice and will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of AIQ Rank after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Miscellaneous
Severability. If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Second Coffee, LLC about AIQ Rank.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
California users — complaint notice
